After a long break, Pedale-Maiale start again. The tour, beginning and ending in Santa Maria della Versa, is really cool, not so easy but not so hard, and pretty short. The idea is to ride in the morning and then to stop at a nice restaurant close to Santa Maria della Versa.

We converge, by car, in Santa Maria della Versa, early in the morning, with the exception of Fernando, who will join us later. We climb up to Donelasco; then we reach Montu’ Beccaria before to descend to Santa Maria della Versa again. Then we go toward Vallescuropasso, stopping at Rocca de Giorgi and then climbing up to the hard “Bosco Chiesa” climb. Here we met three friends (Mino, Flavio and Ugo) belonging to the team RAT. We then reach Montalto and then a long ride up to Passo del Carmine. We are a bit late so we decide to avoid to descend to Valtidone, and we go back to Santa Maria della Versa.
Unfortunately Alessio has a crash and at the end he prefer to come back home, skipping the lunch at trattoria “Antichi Sapori di Soriasco“. The place is cool, and the landscape too. We eat a typical Oltrepo’ lunch, and in particular this was the menu

- First dish: Assaggio di ravioli di brasato, di zucca con sugo di funghi e lasagne
- Second dish: Stufato di asino e di cinghiale, con contorno di patate al forno
